A: The Captivians are a group of Chevrolet Captiva owners who got together and formed a club for mutual benefits and generally just to get together and have a good time.


  1. 2)Who are these owners?

A: They consist of a wide & diverse group of people, we have doctors, head of corporations, business owners, company directors, engineers, senior managers, IT professionals, consultants, pilots and even a creative director.


  1. 3)Why do they do it?

A: It’s purely out of their passion for their Captivas.


  1. 4)Is it a profit organisation?

A: No, it’s purely non-profit. Hey, we are poorer then before we started the club.


  1. 5)How many units of Chevrolet Captiva are out there on the Malaysia road now?

A: At last count it should be around 800 - 900 units.


  1. 6)When was the Chevrolet Captiva launched in Malaysia?

A: November 2007.


7)  When was the Captivians officially formed?

A: June 2008.


8)  Are the Captivians affiliated to any other clubs or organisations?

A: No, they are a stand-alone organisation.


  1. 9)What is the number of Captivians right now?

A: We have 136 Captivians  from Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Indonesia, UK, Australia, Turkey & South Korea as of 9th January 2010.


  1. 10)Do they accept international members?

A: Yes. They welcome any Captiva owners from anywhere in the world.
